The Master Key (Part 4)
Hello TaiKeh Fams!!!
A very big welcome to part 4 of "The Master Key series!"
We've learnt a lot so far, here is a quick recap;
- PART 1: Your main focus should always be on what God calls you rather than what people call you
- PART 2: Determine to draw closer to God
- PART 3: You don't need a bunch of keys, all you need is one key - The Master Key
Today, we'd be discussing on how to handle your Master Key.
Why do you need to know this?
Truth is, if you do not know how to take care of your Master Key, it will rust and eventually become useless to you.
This is not because God didn't give you the key, but because you didn't know how to handle it rightly.
So here a few things to note when you have your key,
Firstly, you must keep your Master Key closest to you always, you would most likely keep a key in your pocket or on a key holder, so you can have it with you always, right?
Why? You cherish whatever is important to you.
Jesus is your Master Key and in Him lies the solution to all difficulties, trials, challenges etc. So seek to always be in His presence.
When you are connected to Jesus, He alone knows which key can open the door to your marriage, job, children and all you desire.
Therefore you must strive to always be connected to Jesus on a personal level.
Abraham knew God on a personal level, that was why God could always speak to him and instruct him on what to do to move forward.
The woman with the issue of blood didn't send someone to touch Jesus' garment on her behalf, she did that by herself and got her healing.
Moses knew God on an intimate level, and God spoke to him face to face.
David cultivated his relationship with God even before he got to the battle field, that was how he got the inspiration (key) to pick 5 stones to kill Goliath.
Furthermore, when God tells you which key to use to solve your problems, please don't discard it, if it sounds ridiculous, strange or too common to you. Don't forget that God uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise.
(1Cor. 1:27 - 29)
Also, you must learn to keep the secret to yourself. Know that whenever you truly go before God to seek His face on an issue(door), He will give you the specific key to unlock it.
But, you must know how to jingle your keys quietly.
You don't have to tell everyone that comes your way about your key, keep it to yourself, jingle quietly.
Don't go about broadcasting it and by doing so, sell yourself to your enemies.
There are several people in the bible who would have gone far if only they knew how to handle their keys so as not to draw unnecessary attention to themselves.
For instance, it was because Samson told Delilah the secret to his great strength, that he was overpowered.
If only Samson had known better or had read this blog! Poor Samson!
(Judges 16:16-21)
The man of God from Judah was instructed by God not to eat and drink and use the same route he used when he went to prophesy to Jeroboam.
Unfortunately, the man of God kept telling everyone what God instructed him to do and that was how he was deceived and later on, he was devoured by a lion. (1Kings 13)
If Goliath had known that David would kill him with a sling and 5 stones, he probably would have ensured that the battle ground was cleared completely of any stone. (1 Sam 17)
Also, when Samuel was going to anoint David as king, Samuel asked God for wisdom so as not to get killed by King Saul and God told him not to tell King Saul that he was going to anoint David.
(1 Sam 16:1-5)
If the devil knew that the death of Jesus on a cross would bring eternal life to us, he would never have sparked hatred in the people's heart to crucify Him. (Luke 23: 21-33)
In conclusion, we must seek to know more about God and also obey Him whether His instructions at that time seem logical or not to us.
Also, we must learn to bridle our tongues so as not to divulge deep secrets to our enemies.
Prayer-
Father, please help us to draw closer to You each day,
Give us grace to always obey Your instructions to us without giving it a second thought ,
Also, please help bridle our tongues in Jesus' name
Amen!
Amen!! So true! So thankful that God meets us where we are and teaches us how to use the tools he has given us one day at a time! ❤

ReplyDeleteThanks for reading Tanager3,
God bless you!
Amen! Woah! That's why the Bible says to trust no one but God. The story of the prophet hit me hardest. God already told him what to do but another 'prophet' came and said otherwise. We are so prone to making this mistake. You know what God has said to you, don't listen to other people's counsel, sometimes, that's why you should be careful who you talk to and what you say. And you should always go back to God for final confirmation, no matter what any 'prophet' or 'man of God' says.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! Very true!

Thanks for reading, God bless you.
