THE WIDOW'S DIARY -PART 6

The day had finally come for us to leave the hospital, we thanked the nurses and doctor for their care, but most especially the receptionist - we gave her a bear hug, held hands with her and prayed for her.

We left the hospital with nowhere in mind, we couldn't go back to our house, it was not safe at all.

Oh God? Please help us. Where do we go to from here? Obviously not to Pastor Joshua's house. Who knows he may be offering his house as tithe to God too. Whew!

My fears and worries were heightened at this point, I was desperate for an answer from God but He was quiet.

" Seriously God, I dislike it when you are quiet like this" I said out loud

We stood at the entrance of the hospital gate and watched as cars moved passed us, the road was filled with potholes of rain water due to the heavy rain that fell yesterday.

Just then a man in a black Acura Rover Range car that was driving at full speed, splashed water from the roadside onto us.

Oh God! Look at that!. I thought to myself as I looked over at our now dirty clothes.

Minutes later, the same car reversed back and slowed down in front of us.

"Yes! You Madam. I am sincerely sorry for the way my driver splashed water on you and your children Ma'am "

An elderly man alighted from the passenger's seat and came over to us.

" I sincerely apologize Ma, please we are so sorry." He said again and again

"It's okay…it's no problem."

"Where are you headed Ma? Please let me offer you and your children a lift ma" He asked politely.

"No we are not going that far, thank you sir" I replied

"Please, I feel bad already that my driver splashed muddy water all over you, please you can't walk to your destination looking this way, " He said pointing at our clothes

"Please let me help you" He pleaded

Enter

I heard that still voice just like the last time!

"Erm.. O.. Okay Sir, thank you" I signaled to my children to hop into the car with me.
