The Master Key (Part 3)

Hello TaiKeh Fam!

We continue Master Key series, Part 3!!
Yaaay!!

Our bible text for this series is from Matthew 9:20‭-‬22. It reads,
And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

From the bible text above, we see that Jesus' garment healed a woman who had battled with an illness for up to twelve years.

You know, Jesus was surrounded by a crowd, who would have sought to touch, hug, shake him and the likes, but only one woman had faith enough to receive her healing by touching Him.
Why did everyone not in the crowd receive their healing?

Every door is special, and it is designed to accommodate only one key which opens that door.

The door here represents your situation and the key, your solution.
Today, we want to tell you that there's a key that can unlock the door of every situation you go through.

Anyone could have touched Jesus' garment, yet just one woman out of the crowd was healed by doing that.

There are several examples of people in the Bible who encountered problems, and found their solution by doing a particular thing, that would have seemed common in the eyes of men, yet it was their key! (Solution)

For instance,

Naaman was told to dip himself in River Jordan to receive his healing, anyone could have gone to swim in that river but only Naaman received his healing by doing that. That was his key! (2Kings 5:14)

David was told to pick five stones and that was how he defeated Goliath, anyone could have used a stone, but only David got his victory by using his sling and five stones.
That was his key! (1Sam.17:49-50)

Samson was instructed not to cut his hair and as long as he did that, he remained the strongest man ever, anyone could have decided not to cut his hair like Samson did, but wouldn't have gotten half of Samson's strength.
The length of his hair was his key!
(Judges 13: 1-5)

Esther and her people prayed and fasted for three days and they were delivered from death, anyone could have decided to pray and fast, even Jesus prayed and fasted for forty days and night, yet wasn't spared from dying on the cross!
Fasting and praying was Esther's key!
(Esther 4:16)

Abraham had to leave his father's house before his name was changed from Abram to Abraham (Father of many nations).
anyone could have left their father's house like Jacob or Jephthah did, yet none of them were called the Father of many nations.
(Gen. 12: 1- 5 ; 17: 5)

Joshua and his people marched round Jericho and on the last day, they shouted and boom! The walls came crumbling down, that was their key! (Joshua 6: 1-27)

Job prayed for his friends and the next thing we hear about him is that God restored him.
That was his key! (Job 42: 10-17)

Moses used a rod to part the Red sea, that rod would have been an ordinary stick in the anyone's hands, but in Moses' hands it was a key to so many doors! (Exodus 14: 16)

Jesus died on the cross and liberated us from the power of sin and death, many had died on the cross before Jesus, two others were even crucified along with Him, yet only Jesus' death redeemed us. That was His key!
(Luke 23: 26-49)

In essence, we all would go through seasons of challenges and trials in life (doors), each challenge (door) has a key to unlock it.

However, to access the key to your own door, you need a Master Key which is JESUS, when you have Him in your life, He would tell you what to do.

A Master Key is a key that can unlock every door irrespective of its lock.

You don't need to have a bunch of keys, all you need is one key - The Master Key.

In a nutshell,
Desire to acquire the Master Key

Watch out for the next update, where we'd discuss how to handle the Master Key carefully !
