JESUS! WAKE UP !!! (PART 5)

Hello TaiKeh fams! 

Welcome to the month of October! Huraay!!! Praise God! 

We discussed in our previous post on why Jesus "risked" His life to go to the place where even the people who had been living there for years never dared to go.

Today we shall be digging deeper into the Bible text below. 

Bible Text :

When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.

Matthew 8:28 NIV

From our Bible text, we can deduce that two men were possessed by terrible demons and had terrorized the entire city for a very long time that it became an unwritten rule that no body could go beyond the area where these two demon possessed men lived.

There are different types of demons operating in every city, country.

The demons in charge of a particular place may differ in terms of operations from another demon in another city.

For example, the demons in charge of Gadarenes were fierce, terrible, destructive.

Therefore, It was no surprise to the people living in the country, because they had become accustomed to their activities. 

The bible described the situation very well : "... They were so violent that no one could pass that way..."

In fact, The people had stayed too long being confined to a certain space that they regarded it as a normal practice. 

No body could move past the limit that had been set by the demons. They were constrained to a particular level, in other words they were stagnant, they couldn't attain a greater height other than that which had been set by the demons. 

Today, we want to encourage you not to settle for the height the devil has set for you. Fight back!

You were not called to obey the devil but God and what God wants for you is to move forward. 

However, There's a but which is You can not fight back by yourself neither can you make any progress by yourself. 

Think about it for a minute, The people could not do anything, they were hopeless, stranded until Jesus stepped into their country and silenced the voice of the enemy. 

Until you invite God into your life, marriage, academics, business, career, ministry etc the devil would continue to be in control of your life. 

Until Jesus came to their country and into the very place that the devil had purposed that the people would never cross, the people remained in bondage. 

Until Jesus stepped into the arena of the demons and confronted them, The people could not move forward. 

We don't know how many of you are tired of being stagnant, and unable to move forward. 

We encourage you to beckon on Jesus to come into your life now so you can be where God wants you to be and achieve your purpose in life . 

When you do so, the sky would be your starting point of greatness. 

So what are you waiting for? 

Invite Jesus to your life, marriage, academics, business etc. 

A life without Christ is full of crisis. 

PRAYER :

Father, I come before you and confess that by myself I can not move forward, I lay everything at your feet and surrender all to you. Please come into my life and make yourself at home, destroy the stronghold of the enemy over my life. 

I declare that I am free indeed in Jesus mighty name. Amen
