So, where are you headed? We will drop you off at your destination Ma'am. The driver motioned to me
I was silent for a while. I was wondering why God would want to take us back to the place He knew very well was not safe at all and not just that, He wanted to take us there so quickly that He brought us a free ride. I was confused. When people mentioned that God was mysterious, now I knew the reason.
My ways are not your ways.
Then the least you can do is give me some details of your ways. I responded
I was done being a zombie, imagine me obeying everything He tells me to do without even giving it a second thought,
I would rather be alive, staying under a bridge with my children than go back to that house, and risk being harassed and my children taken away from me.
Stop the car please. I let out in anger
The car screeched to a halt .
What is going on mum? My eldest son queried
I looked at him and said "Let's walk home"
"But, you told us to enter the car Mum"
Have you ever gotten to that point where your children get on your nerves and use your own words against you?
" I know what I said, Just do as I say okay, Please"
The elderly man didn't budge at all. He was pensive for a moment, as though he had something on his mind to share. He signaled to his driver to unlock the doors for us to alight.
"Before you go Ma'am, Please I have something to say, It will only take a minute, Then you can alight"
"What's your name Ma?" he asked
It is not important Sir, Can you just get to the point ? " I said without giving a thought
"Oh wow, err okay.. So I asked because the Holy Spirit actually told me to follow this route for the first time on my way home. I usually pass the overhead bridge which is faster to where I reside.
For a minute, it felt surreal, why would He tell me to pass another route, allow my driver to splash muddy water over you and your children and then tell me to give you a ride home?"
Well, I don't know too. I wondered
The elderly man handed me an envelope and said " For the change of your garments"
I hesitated, then I heard the still voice say "Collect It"
I took the envelope hesitantly, and we alighted. Then the car zoomed off..
Our house was few blocks away. I opened the envelope and saw a sheet of paper and a key.
On the paper was an address.
What was the address for? Do we go there or not
That Widow
Oh it is like getting a gift and having to wait a bit longer for the next part of the gift and eventually the last one the end of your blog
