DIFFERENT TYPES OF CONSOLERS EP1

Today we would be talking about the different types of people we've encountered during this season of our mum departure.

Learn and be blessed!

1. SHOUTERS: When they hear the news of the transition of your loved one, they start shouting at the top of their lungs.

For example, when we informed one of our mum's friends.

As soon as we broke the news to her, She shouted, grabbed us and squeezed the lives out of us, you needed to see how we were scrambling for oxygen. 

She was crying so hard 

and yes, we were fighting so hard to hold back our tears.

Ever since, we decided that meeting people one-on-one to inform them was removed from our options.

 

2. INTERVIEWERS/JOURNALISTS: These type of people ask soo many questions at once like: 

How did it happen?,

Was she sick before?,

Is it true what I heard?

What are you going to do now? etc

Unfortunately, these people are asking questions to satisfy their OWN curiosity without thinking of the pain it is causes to the bereaved by bringing up such painful memories.

Personal Thought: 

"Mr/Ms Journalist, we know you mean well but sometimes it is best not to add to the dilemma of the bereaved by asking too many questions that bring up painful memories- 

don't be too forceful especially when the bereaved is not in the mood to answer your questions."
