Our response to How are you feeling today?
HOW ARE YOU FEELING TODAY?
When asked this question, we have a hard time answering, because we're wondering whether to give the general "fine, and you? or the " we are blessed, we thank God"
OR,
the REAL answer.
Here's the REAL one
We feel like a broken dam, where the tears keeps gushing, we cry torrents of tears, It just won't stop.
We feel like we were hit by a train full of sadness, despair, anger etc.
We feel like our heart is broken into so many pieces and its sharp edges keep piercing us.
We feel numb too, when images of the last time we had with our Mom fills our minds.
That are times when we just stare so hard at anything, the sky or the floor, thinking about Mama and we are so lost in our thoughts.
We feel like the time should just stop! How did we get to June already?
We are not even in the mood to wish anyone a Happy New Month.
We feel like the world has moved on and we are like,
Can God just pause everything?
Can the sun just stand still?
We feel like rapture should happen this second- so we can be with Mama now, like right NOW.
We feel like we are just crayons in God's hands, He does what He pleases and it hurts because we are thinking,
Does He really care about the crayons. He is coloring so hard!
Hmmmn....

I am feeling grateful to God because He has you in His grip. Even when you are in the throws of despair, his plan is unfailing and his patience is unwavering. His name doesn't change just because we question His plan. He is still God Almighty. The Giver of life. And His life in us doesn't end just because we stop breathing. He is Eternal Life. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who aren't dead but alive. So while you weep, remember He is watching over you. Just as he watches over her. And sooner than we all know, you'll see her, not dead, but alive in God's arms. Blessings❤
