THE WIDOW'S DIARY (PART 2)

 Hello!  I think I'm much better now to continue sharing, thanks for your patience!  The day my husband passed on to glory, I felt my whole world collapsed.  That was the beginning of poverty, Hmmn... I thought I knew what poverty was when my late husband was alive but I was wrong.  After his death, My children and I saw the height, length, depth, color, In fact, We could recognize the ugly face of poverty even from a distance!  There were times, We would starve because there was no food at home and even when there was "food", It was usually bread and we would have to divide one loaf of bread for everyone to eat and drink water. This greatly affected my health and that of my children.  Not just that, We had to move to a smaller apartment, Actually, It was not even close to being called an apartment, it was made of dry leaves, Carton, Nylon and Palm Fronds.  To crown it all, It was a mini zoo, because all manner of Cockroaches, Rats, Mosquitoes, Fl...
